In order to ensure neutrality of the OEF and to obtain the widest range of views, the Board Of Advisors is comprised of representatives of the various professional sectors concerned with ECDIS matters (IHO, government agencies, industry, academia, etc.).

To keep the BoA to a manageable size, its membership is limited to maximum seven members. The current BoA members are:
